Good Morning, Christmas!

It’s a Christmas miracle. It’s nearly 9:30am and everyone in the house is still asleep, except for me and Girl Trinity. She only awoke half an hour ago and she is now playing quietly at my feet with 2 new dolls she received last night when we celebrated Christmas Eve with my side of the family. I’ve turned the twinkling lights on the trees and now I am about to start the first pot of coffee of the day, perhaps the only pot.
What I am enjoying most right now is the quiet. The time to reflect on the day, to think about the baby, long ago, who came to save the world. That little baby, child so small, changes everything. Jesus. He came so meek and mild. He came to live and die and rise again so that we may have life and have it abundantly. My prayer is that we will all experience a taste of that abundant life today. Enjoy your family, your loved ones, your peaceful moments, your joyful chaotic ones, all of it. Enjoy the abundant life God has given you today and have a very Merry Christmas!
Love,

Rebekah
