Had a rough day yesterday. Do I really wear my heart on my sleeve? Seriously, I did not feel like I was walking around all “grumpy,” but my friends and family definitely noticed…like the very second they saw me. I guess it’s good to be transparent. Nothing huge happened, just some drama trying to care for one of my kids. And, feeling like I’m less than able to do a great job. I hate that. It’s so discouraging to feel like you can’t parent each of your kids well. I want to be able to be there for each of them in the unique ways that they need me and sometimes that feels impossible. Luckily, I serve a God who is there to meet the needs that I can’t. So, today I offer you this praise and worship song from my first album. It’s called Hallelujah, I Love You and expresses a desire and call to love and praise God through the good and the band times. And, it proclaims the truth that God loves us through it all (even the deep and dark of night)
