Around here, we love love. So, celebrating a day that is supposed to be all about love is a day that we can’t pass up. The last few years my sister in law and I have enjoyed planning these little “parties” together either at her house or mine. It’s really for our 8 kids but we always end up enjoying these kid friendly celebrations. 

The Els helped decorate. We made valentine chains and hung them as decoration throughout the house.

My sil made valentine themed chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered strawberries. We placed them in cute tins from last year and they made very cute table decorations.

My first attempt at making homemade lasagna was a success. There was none left!

My mom made large heart shaped cookies for the kids to decorate.
